Miss Keri Baby!
It’s been nearly two decades since the singer, songwriter and actress has been on the entertainment scene. Now, she’s returning to her love of music with a fresh face, a new album and lots to talk about.
From ‘Pretty Girl Rock’ to ‘Knock U Down’, Keri Hilson has given us some serious anthems for #Her to bop to. Back-to-back albums ‘No Boys Allowed’ and ‘In A Perfect World’ easily had the early 2000’s on tilt, lighting up the Billboard. The fiery fashion, that sassy hair, the entire glow up and even a few movie roles had us all on that ‘Miss Keri Baby’ wave.
The wait is officially over for Hilson’s follow up to the 2011 sophomore release.
The trilogy album, affectionately titled “We Need To Talk” will roll out 3 parts. The first installment she calls LOVE is available now, with the first single ‘Bae’ heating up the airwaves.
Later to be released are DRAMA and REDEMPTION. Given Hilson’s journey in music, her previous success, controversy and hiatus, the roll out is sparking interest on how she will let fans in through the album.
A cinematic teaser announcing the forthcoming album gives fans emotion and transparency as the singer explains her hiatus and the challenges she faced in returning to music. In a recent interview, Hilson then expanded on being pressured to release a shady record that ultimately led to massive backlash, heavily affecting her life and career.
Following the release of PT. 1: LOVE, the songstress is continuing to invite fans into the conversation.
In the newly released short, Keri offers candid answers to inquiring minds, diving deep on everything from purpose to passion, to foot fetishes and of course what to expect with the new project.
